Bluprint UK recently completed another successful LMC Impression Jacket installation at Warners Midlands PLC, UK.
Original KBA supplied jackets and engineers were previously used for their KBA Rapida 106, but excessive costs drove Assistant Production Manager, Darren Want, to search for a quality alternative for their 10-colour perfecting press. On the switch, Darren remarks, "the impression guarantee fitted our criteria and we've saved in the region of 45%."
Warners Midlands is a notable mainstay of the UK printing industry, employing more than 240 members of staff and with sales of over £31m.
Ten LMC Impression Jackets were installed across a weekend to make allowances for Warners' production schedule over a very busy period. "We had to change dates due to production reasons at very late notice! Bluprint UK were very understanding and were able to accommodate the change."
Our experienced engineers were on site in Lincolnshire to install jackets on units 6 to 10 and completed the job and print test to ensure correct installation. Together with Warners Midlands staff they noticed a loose edge which caused some doubling, "it was rectified very quickly and we've had no other issues" says Darren.
